  Revised: Prices went up this year (2016) which is disappointing, but understandable.
  
  The rise in prices helps make the wait for a table a lot faster and the restaurant is less loud.
  
  There is a language barrier. You must give the extra effort if you want the servers to really understand you. Some of them know more English than others. If you know Spanish, you are in luck.
  
  The margarita glasses were changed to plastic this year. I preferred the glass ones.

  The food is good, but the wait time is terrible. Its not a very big restaurant but its always busy so there's always a wait.

  Absolutely delicious! I ordered the monster chimi and it was the best thing I've ever eaten from el maguey!!!! Service was quick and Friendly. Definitely will be going back.
